Today was my fifth meeting with Katherine. Day 5 is about the time where I expect things are going to really start to shift, and today’s meeting certainly turned out to be an example of that.
When we started the meeting today, my subjective score was a 5, and hers was a 4. By the end of today’s meeting, we were both at 8! This is by far the biggest jump that I have experienced doing this kind of daily Positivity work.
Katherine had us answering some questions about the little things in life that we appreciate. For instance, she asked me what unexpected compliment did I receive recently? My answer was that I had received a compliment from many of my staff members, appreciating the fact that I value them and am kind to them as human beings, not just as employees.
She asked me what activity makes me feel happiest. I responded that it’s podcasting and dancing.
She asked me to name one every day thing in my life that I really appreciate. I replied that I appreciate the fact that I distilled and mineralized my own water so that I have the cleanest water I can get.
When we do these sessions, she also gives her answers to the questions. So one of the activities that makes her happiest is karaoke singing. One of the best compliments that she has been how good listener she is.
I noticed in this meeting how quickly both of us were laughing and smiling, despite the fact that we started at relatively lower subjective levels. I could really feel the energy exchange in a huge way during today’s session.
Thank you, Katherine! I appreciate you being my Positivity partner.
